Sedore & Company announces merger
Sedore & Company, CPAs is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2008, the firm has merged with Rae & Company, CPAs. The new firm is a combination of long standing and well respected accounting firms similar in their values and focus on customer service.
The Rae & Company office is located at 1068 Main Street in Fishkill. This expanded Fishkill presence will be of particular interest to Sedore’s Southern Dutchess clientele. The fully staffed and larger office will allow them the option to schedule tax interviews in Fishkill, drop off and pick up records and returns, right there, closer to home. Sedore & Company’s main office is still conveniently located on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie at the Beechwood Office Park.
Jeff Brown named "Rising Star"
Jeffrey L. Brown, CPA was selected as one of the 2007 Rising Stars for Orange County! The Rising Star award is given in recognition of professional and volunteer activities, demonstrated leadership and the impact that Jeff has had on the organizations in which he is involved. This award was given on behalf of Leadership Orange, the Junior League of Orange County and the Orange County Chamber of Commerce.
Sedore & Company acquires new firm
Christopher Crowe merged his firm, J.J. Crowe & Associates, LLC with Sedore & Company in August 2007. Sedore Announces New Partner
Sedore & Company, CPA's, P.C. is proud to announce the appointment of Jeffrey L. Brown, CPA as its newest partner.
Jeff joined Sedore & Company when he and his wife, Gretchen, moved to the Hudson Valley in August 2003. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and was a Senior Accountant at Beard Miller Company, LLP in York, Pennsylvania. Both members of the NYS Governmental Officers Association (GFOA) in Orange County and the NYS GFOA recently called upon Dutchess County-based Sedore & Company, certified public accountants, to make keynote presentations to their membership.
