James F. Letterio Jr., CPA
In November 1987, Jim Letterio merged his family accounting practice, in Beacon NY, with that of Jim Sedore and Mark O’Sullivan in order to form Sedore, O’Sullivan & Letterio, CPAs, P.C. By the year 2001, the firm became known as Sedore & Company, CPAs, P.C., and had grown to include three shareholders and four partners, serving the Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, and Ulster counties. Jim’s responsibilities continued in the areas of accounting, auditing and tax, including several municipal and not-for-profit clients. In addition, he is responsible for performing business valuations for which the firm has been retained.
Jim has served on a number of local not-for-profit organization boards including President of the Southern Dutchess Exchange Club and Beacon Business Association. He is currently Chairman of the St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Foundation Board. A member of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, he serves as Co-Chairman on their Audit and Finance Committees. Jim is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Mid-Hudson Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, and the Government Finance Officers Association, where he serves on their Audit /Finance and Legal Committees. In addition, Jim is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Jim resides in his hometown of Beacon, New York, with his wife, Patricia, and their two daughters, Anne and Emily.
Linda M. Hannigan, CPA
Linda joined Sedore & Company CPAs as an audit manager in December 1993 and became a partner in January of 2000. She specializes in audits for not-for-profit organizations and municipalities.
Linda has over twenty years of experience and earned the AICPA Governmental/Not-for-Profit Accounting & Auditing Certificate of Achievement. She is also a graduate of Leadership Dutchess.
Her professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, NYS Government Finance Officers’ Association and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Linda is currently Vice President of the Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board,Treasurer of the Bon Secours Community Hospital Foundation Board, member of the Orange County Citizens Foundation. She is a former Board member and Treasurer of the Hudson Valley Make A Wish Foundation as well as a former Trustee and Treasurer of the Goshen Public Library and Historical Society.
She resides in Port Jervis, New York with her husband, Robert Schultz.
Dana T. Sperry, CPA
Dana joined the firm of Sedore & Company CPAs in September 2006 as a Tax Manager and has been practicing public accounting in New York for 15 years.
Dana specializes in Individual, Corporate and Partnership Tax Returns as well as Estate and Fiduciary Tax Planning and Preparation.
Dana is an active member of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPA’s. He is a SCORE Business Counselor and a 2009 graduate of the Leadership Dutchess program.
A resident of Red Hook, Dana lives with his wife Karen and son Tyler.
James L. Sedore, Jr., CPA
Jim Sedore has worked as a partner in Dutchess County public accounting firms for over 45 years. A certified public accountant since 1972, he co-founded Sedore & Company CPAs - as Sedore & O'Sullivan - in 1982.
Licensed to practice accounting in Vermont and New York, Jim has always stressed the importance of community involvement. His posts have included Board Chairman of the Wappingers Falls Chamber of Commerce as well as the Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber (after the two merged), and he currently sits on the board of Vassar Brothers Medical Center, a Health Quest affiliate. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jim is a member of the Rotary Club of Wappingers Falls, Southern Dutchess County Economic Development Corporation and the Mount Beacon Incline Railway Restoration Society.
In 1994, Governor Cuomo appointed Jim to the Board of the Metropolitan Transit Authority. In 1998, Governor Pataki followed suite as did Governor Paterson in 2010. In 2005, Jim was appointed chair of the MTA's oversight committee for the Metro-North Railroad. He resides in Fishkill, New York with his wife Diane.
Mark S. O'Sullivan, CPA
Mark O'Sullivan co-founded Sedore & Company CPAs in 1982. He specializes in municipal consulting, tax and accounting consulting and is currently the firm's managing partner.
A certified public accountant since 1979, he is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of CPAs.
Mark has been a member of the Knights of Columbus and Rotary for over 30 years. He is the Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Northern Dutchess Hospital and has served as a Board Member for Health Quest. Mark is an active parishioner of Regina Coeli Church in Hyde Park where he is a Deacon, a youth leader and religious education instructor.
Mark is a native of West Islip, New York and currently resides in Hyde Park, New York with his wife Sue. They are the parents of five daughters with growing families.
